LOVE is LOVE
& Love Yourself!

LGBTQIA+ owned & affirming!
Coaching that honors + celebrates you & your love!

You are free to be uniquely you in a safe, judgment-free zone where you will be accepted & celebrated!
Bridal Health Coach upholds that Love is Love and affirms all gender identities and expressions.
I encourage you to be authentically yourself with me. I acknowledge the fact that it is not always practical, safe to be "out." Know this is a safe space for you & I will honor your identity, orientation, and use your preferred pronouns. LGBTQIA+ Community, here's an invitation to explore your health and wellness with a warm welcome to a space that not only accepts, but genuinely celebrates you!
I support inclusion and equity for LGBTQIA+ folks, BIPOC, women, differently-abled people, people in larger bodies, aging people, and anyone in a marginalized identify or intersectionality. I strive to be culturally sensitive to different backgrounds, contexts, experiences, and worldviews. While our perspectives, politics, and belief systems may differ from each other, respectfulness is non-negotiable. As we create a safe space centered on respect and acceptance, that means my community has zero tolerance of intolerance. I stand against ableism, ageism, homophobia, sexism, transphobia, and any form of discrimination.
I commit to on-going learning to deepen my awareness and understanding, including divorce from systems of oppression against any one, which means I am open to feedback, learning, and being called out if there's an opportunity for me to improve. I take these matters to heart.
When you learn better, you can do better!
Let's destigmatize and advocate for mental health, be more inclusive, and support each other.
Your light shining brighter does not dim my own light, however together we can make a brighter world that is more accepting, inclusive, and compassionate for beings and planet to thrive.
I approach wellness with a Health at Every Size lens, that is more inclusive, accessible, and empowering than what you expect of the typical fitness industry, although I love seeing the gradual shift towards greater representation and inclusion that is slowly emerging. I enjoy Body Positivity - but have you heard of body neutrality?! Better yet, have you considered what becomes possible with body liberation? While I am a fan of Radical Self-Acceptance as coined by author and advocate Sonya Renee Taylor in her fabulous book "Your Body is Not an Apology," I know that your individual goals, preferences, and relationship with your body is your own journey.
I will not tell you what or how to think, however the inquiries and process of self-discovery in coaching may bring to light opportunities for you to challenge where you internalized body ideals, societal/cultural expectations, and unearth what you would like to uphold to align with your own values. You might be confronting societal values that are not your own and challenge shame, this is deep work & I am here to hold your journey as unique and sacred. It's okay to simultaneously promote your self-acceptance AND that you may strive for changes in your body AND be un-learning social systems that tell you what is valuable.
Coaching approaches each person from the lens that you are naturally creative, resourceful, and whole.
